Manchester United are said to be interested in Tottenham Hotspur defenders Kyle Walker and Danny Rose.

With Manchester United said to be interested in Tottenham Hotspur duo Kyle Walker and Danny Rose (The Sun), we take a look at three players Mauricio Pochettino could ask for in exchange.

Luke Shaw

Replacing Rose would be an almost impossible task for Tottenham, as he has established himself as one of the top left-backs in the country.

However, Shaw was actually ahead of Rose in the England pecking order before picking up an injury.

If Spurs could get Shaw back to his best, he could become an excellent addition and would have the ability to fill the void left by Rose’s departure.

Antonio Valencia

Again, if Spurs were to lose Walker, they would need a right-back of similar quality to replace him.

Valencia may be considerably older than Walker, and he would be a short term fix, but their qualities are very similar.

The Ecuadorian is very capable going forward and is blessed with ample amounts of pace, so he would be a like for like replacement for Walker.

Marcus Rashford

If Spurs are going to even consider letting two of their most integral players go, they will want to be compensated.

One area of weakness in Tottenham’s squad is their lack of options up-front, with Harry Kane the only striker in their team seemingly capable of finding the back of the net regularly.

Vincent Janssen has struggled since signing at White Hart Lane, and United would likely to have to offer a player of Rashford’s quality to even slightly tempt Spurs into selling their full-back duo.

Rashford has only been used sparingly by Jose Mourinho so far, but he remains a wonderful talent and looks capable of leading the line for club and country when he fully develops.
