Liverpool sneaked a win over Fulham, and there’s much reason to be positive, but who didn’t play to their potential?
Here are three who statistically, had disappointing games:
1) Kolo Toure
Fast becoming a liability at the back, Kolo Toure netted a terrible own goal to put his side 1-0 down. Also concerning should be his wayward passing. The Ivorian completed just 60 per cent of his passes, in comparison to his 86.2 per cent season average.
2) Jordan Henderson
While completing 93 per cent of his passes, the game at Fulham was a rare contest where Jordan Henderson did not register a single shot at goal, did not make a single successful tackle, nor a single successful interception. Most strikingly is that he normally averages over 2 successful tackles per game.
3) Martin Skrtel
Fresh from his superb display against Arsenal, Martin Skrtel didn’t have a great night against Fulham, gifting a goal on a plate to Fulham by slicing a clearance into the path of Kieran Richardson. It was a moment for him to forget, and one he won’t want to dwell on heading to the weekend’s FA Cup tie at The Emirates.
