The 37-year-old is being linked with a summer move to Rangers, whose current boss Graeme Murty looks set to leave Ibrox.

Steven Gerrard is now favourite with some bookmakers to be the next Rangers manager, replacing Graeme Murty at Ibrox.
The Liverpool legend has spent the past year coaching the Reds’ Under-18s and his links to Anfield could prove extremely valuable should Rangers give him the nod, with Ibrox a likely port of call for any youngsters ready to head out on loan.
But which Liverpool talents could make the move north of the border if Gerrard takes Gers the reins?
Tony Gallacher
A runoured Rangers target while Mark Warburton was manager (Herald), the former Falkirk left-back was snapped up by Liverpool in January. A first team berth may be some way off, however, and securing first team football elsewhere could take precedence for Gallacher next term. With Lee Wallace’s Rangers future uncertain, the 18-year-old Glaswegian could be a welcome addition at Ibrox.
Harry Wilson

The Wales winger is excelling at Hull City, where he has scored seven goals and set up four in 11 appearances since his January loan move. His next step is unclear, however, with his path seemingly blocked at Liverpool, and a spell at Rangers may prove useful. The Gers could be looking to strengthen in Wilson’s position, especially if a permanent deal cannot be agreed for Brighton’s Jamie Murphy.
Rhian Brewster

The one on this list best-known to Gerrard, Brewster has been a regular scorer in Liverpool’s Under-18s this season and helped to fire England’s Under-17s to World Cup glory last autumn. While still very raw, his physical attributes and playing style are not too dissimilar to those of Rangers striker Alfredo Morelos – making him a logical alternative should the Colombian move on.
