Could the Portuguese super agent help both Swansea City and Wolverhampton Wanderers this month?

Swansea City have turned to super agent Jorge Mendes for help on transfers, according to the Daily Mail. Mendes, whose most notable clients include Cristiano Ronaldo and Jose Mourinho, has been assisting Championship side Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Mendes has helped to bring several big-name stars, including Ruben Neves, Diogo Jota and Ivan Cavaleiro, to Molineux over the past 18 months, with his efforts reaping their reward on the pitch this season.
But could Swansea be the next club to benefit? Here are three more Mendes clients, linked with Wolves moves in recent months, who may well feature on the Welsh club’s January shopping list…
Diogo Goncalves (Benfica)

Swansea’s attacking options could do with a freshen up, and a player like Goncalves would fit the bill. The lively offensive midfielder, who operates mainly on the left, has created two goals in his 11 outings this season – with four of those appearances arriving in the Champions League. He’s a Portugal Under-21 international who should be familiar with Jacks loanee Renato Sanches – a former colleague of his at Benfica.
Joao Carvalho (Benfica)

Gylfi Sigurdsson’s summer move to Everton is perhaps the primary reason behind the Welsh side’s lack of creativity, and Carvalho – who is another current Portugal Under-21 international and ex-Sanches teammate – could combat that problem. The attack-minded central midfielder, who can operate on either flank if required, has created two goals in six first team outings this season. The 20-year-old was linked with a £13 million move to Wolves last month.
Tiquinho Soares (Porto)

Goal scoring has also been a problem for the Swans, and though Soares has struggled in front of goal himself this season, his 15 goals in 35 games for Porto overall suggest he’d be a useful addition to Carlos Carvalhal’s side. The 27-year-old Brazilian has found starting opportunities harder to come by since the summer.
