Tottenham should have these three goalkeepers high on their shortlist to replace Hugo Lloris in the coming years.

The French World Cup winner hinted that the MLS in America could be an option and this should ring alarm bells in the head of Daniel Levy. Tottenham have been heavily reliant on Lloris since he joined the club back in 2012 and losing him would be a massive blow.
Lloris is under contract until the summer of 2022 but Spurs should already be on the lookout for a possible replacement should their skipper decide to move on before the end of his current deal. Here are three highly-rated goalkeepers who Tottenham should consider as Lloris’ successor:
Andre Onana:
One of the best goalkeepers in Europe last season, Onana was an integral part of Ajax’s exciting young side who won the Eredivisie and made it to the semi-finals of the Champions League. The 23-year-old kept 16 clean sheets in the Dutch league while conceding just 27 goals in 33 games.

Onana would be an unbelievable acquisition for any side in the world and Tottenham replacing Lloris with him would be massively beneficial to the club’s future.
Mike Maignan:
The 24-year-old had a stunning season for Lille last term as he helped the club finish as runners up in the French top-flight. Maignan kept 15 clean sheets in the league lasts season, with only Walter Benitez bettering his record in all of Ligue 1.

The Frenchman can be a mainstay between Tottenham’s sticks for the best part of the next decade should they sign him and he should be high on their list of options to succeed their skipper when he decides to leave.
Jack Butland:
A player wasting himself at the wrong end of the Championship, Butland is hugely experienced for a 26-year-old. The Englishman knows the difficulties of the Premier League and with a good defence in front of him, he could well prove to be an incredible goalkeeper for Spurs.
