The former Fulham manager is favourite for the Nottingham Forest job.
The former Fulham manager, Slavisa Jokanovic, is the early favourite to succeed Aitor Karanka at Nottingham Forest.
But which players could the Serbian look to bring with him if he is indeed appointed by the Reds?
HITC Sport takes a look…
Marcus Bettinelli (Fulham)
A new goalkeeper could feature highly on Forest’s list of January priorities, with Costel Pantilimon having failed to convince so far. Bettinelli was a regular under Jokanovic at Fulham, but has slipped down the pecking order this season and a transfer could be on the cards.

Kevin McDonald (Fulham)
While Nottingham Forest aren’t short of central midfielders, Liam Bridcutt, Ben Watson, Ryan Yates have all struggled for regular game time and could be on their way out, along with the recently-returned Jorge Grant. McDonald appears to be going spare at Fulham, however, and could be one of the first players Jokanovic looks to reunite with, having been one of the 50-year-old’s key men at Craven Cottage.

Sheyi Ojo (Liverpool)
A new winger may also be of interest to Forest’s next manager, amid speculation that Gil Dias and Diogo Goncalves could each return to Portugal this month. Ojo is another who played under Jokanovic at Fulham, but is currently on loan from Liverpool to Reims, where he has started just five games all season. And a return to the Championship is likely to appeal.
