Players of Fiorentina, Monaco and Nacional feature in the list.
Nottingham Forest Chairman Fawaz Al Hasawi (L)
Nottingham Forest made an exciting appointment this week with Pedro Pereira being appointed as the club’s new sporting director.
He took the role in the same week that he left his similar post at Italian side Fiorentina.
Prior to that he had spent many years working at SC Braga in the Portuguese top-flight – helping guide the side to the UEFA Europa League final in 2011.
Elderson Echiejile
So should he be looking to bring in some of his former players?
Here are three potential options…
Ante Rebic – Fiorentina
The Croatian arrived at Fiorentina in 2013 with high hopes of making it at the club. A Croatian international attacker he unfortunately never quite made the grade.
He was loaned out to Hellas Verona at the end of last season and surely Fiorentina would be open to a similar deal this summer.
Ante Rebic
Elderson Echiejile – AS Monaco
The Nigerian international left-back would be a brilliant acquisition for Forest.
The 28-year-old spent four years at Braga and is currently at AS Monaco – where he is a valuable member of the team.
But a move to England would surely tempt him.
Salvador Agra
Salvador Agra – Nacional
This man has already been linked with Leeds United and spent two spells on loan at Braga during Pereira’s tenure behind the scenes.
His agent recently told HITC that his client would be interested in a move to England – so perhaps Forest should throw their hat in the ring for the pacey attacker.
