We select a trio of promising fantasy football options for the coming weekend, with players at Spurs, Arsenal and Crystal Palace included this week.
Arsenal’s Theo Walcott
Looking at this weekend’s Premier League fixtures, below are three players who would be good options to consider finding a place for in your side. The below can be considered whichever flavour of fantasy football you are playing, but we will be providing prices and data from the official Premier League fantasy football game.
Theo Walcott £7.7m (Arsenal v Swansea) – 2 goals, 3 assists from last five matches
Despite having an indifferent campaign last year, Walcott has returned to prominence and form this season, starting every league match for Arsene Wenger’s side. The winger may have disappointed for England during the international break, but at club level he is finding the net again on the right side of a forward three, and is also helping his teammates to score too.
Arsenal’s Theo Walcott celebrates scoring
Arsenal have been in good form, and will fancy their chances up against a Swansea defence that is still coming to terms with Ashley Williams’ departure. As a midfielder with a goal threat, that’s bonus points too.
Heung-min Son £7.7m (West Brom v Tottenham Hotspur) – 4 goals, 2 assists from last four matches
Like rival Walcott, Son is a genuine attacking option for Spurs, having started the last match against Manchester City up front. Regardless of where he players, the South Korean has been a revelation for Mauricio Pochettino so far this season, and has netted braces in his last two away matches.
Tottenham’s Son Heung-min celebrates
The Hawthorns may be a tougher nut to crack, but with Tottenham in great form, Son is a great option to choose from the North Londoners’ attacking midfielders.
Christian Benteke £7.6m (Crystal Palace v West Ham) – 3 goals from last five matches
The Palace man has found his feet once again since moving from Liverpool, and has scored in his last two league matches. Against a West Ham side who boast the league’s worst defence, expect the powerful striker to run amok, especially with Benteke’s confidence boosted even further by a hat-trick on the international break.
£7.6 million is a decent price for a forward sure to start at a mid-table team, especially with a lot of the expensive attackers demonstrating poor or patchy form.
