The Liverpool star has been recently linked with a summer move to Barcelona.
Liverpool’s Philippe Coutinho celebrates
Reds fans woke up to worrying news this morning concerning the future of star man Philippe Coutinho, with Spanish news outlet SPORT claiming that the Brazilian has already agreed personal terms with Barcelona.
Jürgen Klopp will surely be keen to keep hold of the 24-year-old, however, as he looks to build a title-winning team at Anfield.
Coutinho only recently signed a new five-year deal with Liverpool, but as we all know, that means little in today’s game.
And if Klopp is forced to sell the mercurial play-maker, he should demand at least one Barcelona star in return, on top of a substantial transfer fee, to help fill the void that will be left behind by the former Inter Milan man.
Here are three Barca players the Reds should consider…
Andre Gomes:
The 23-year-old midfielder has struggled to adapt to life under the intense spotlight at the Nou Camp, since his summer switch from Valencia.
Whilst Barcelona might just be too big a stage for Gomes, he could flourish at Anfield, under the tutelage of Klopp.
He is an accomplished passer, has an excellent engine and has the ability to make Liverpool tick with this intelligent use of the football.

Arda Turan:
The 30-year-old Turkey international is another star who has struggled to establish himself at Barca. He is incredibly talented though and would give the Reds an extra edge in attacking areas.
He can play anywhere along the front-line, and would provide Klopp with more options as far as tactical fluidity is concerned.

Paco Alcacer:
The 23-year-old Spaniard has obviously found his game-time limited since arriving in Catalonia, with Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez and Neymar ahead of him in the pecking order.
The Merseyside outfit will definitely need to bolster their forward options this summer, and the technically brilliant former Valencia man could be the ideal signing.
