The Hull City defender is a reported summer transfer target for Everton.
Hull City’s Harry Maguire in action
The Toffees have reportedly made the signing of Tigers star Harry Maguire one of their key priorities this summer, according to the Liverpool Echo.
Whilst Marco Silva will undoubtedly want to keep hold of the 24-year-old centre-back, he might very well be forced into selling, should any potential offer be too good to refuse.
With his contract at the KCOM stadium set to expire in the summer of 2018, and exit before the start of next term for Maguire looks highly likely, but Hull should not allow him to leave without exploring the possibility of bringing in some Everton players in return.
Here are three Blues stars who could be ideal for the Tigers…
James McCarthy:
The Republic of Ireland midfielder has endured a torrid campaign that has been blighted by injuries, but at the age of just 26, he still has plenty to offer.
His tenacious playing style would add a certain level of aggression and bite to Hull’s engine room. He would be the ideal partner for Tom Huddlestone in the middle of the park, and would be a sound replacement for Ryan Mason, as the former Spurs man continues to recover from his horrific head injury.

Aaron Lennon:
The speedy winger is currently out injured, but he could be a great option for Hull next term.
Whilst he has lost the blistering pace he once had, he is still a top level performer, and would offer the Tigers something completely different in wide attacking areas.
He has only just turned 30, so has plenty of years left in which to showcase his talents.

Arouna Kone:
Another Toffees star who is arguably past his best, yet could still bring something to Marco Silva’s side.
The 33-year-old is renowned for playing off the shoulder of the last defender, and Hull have lacked that kind of player who can penetrate the opposition’s back-line by making runs in behind.
He would be a short-term fix to the Tigers’ lack of potency, but a useful one nevertheless.
