Everton’s search for a new manager could finally be about to reach its conclusion, with Sam Allardyce the leading candidate for the position.
As reported by BBC Sport, Allardyce is under consideration to succeed Ronald Koeman at Goodison Park.

Wayne Rooney
Although he has had some standout moments, such as a goal against Manchester City, Rooney’s return to Everton certainly hasn’t gone to plan.
The former Manchester United player has found himself on the bench at times of late but his commitment and determination could see him become a fixture in the side with Allardyce at the helm.
Phil Jagielka
At the age of 35 Jagielka is certainly in the latter stages of his career and on the evidence of this season is someway past his best.
However, if appointed Allardyce would surely look to get Jagielka back to his resilient best and make the most of the centre-back’s vast experience.
Aaron Lennon
Injury has restricted Lennon’s game time so far this season but under Allardyce’s guidance the winger could thrive.
Lennon has demonstrated that he is willing to track back and help his defenders with regularity, which would surely endear him to Allardyce.
