Tottenham Hotspur fans would like to see some genuine quality added to their squad this summer.

Spurs have enjoyed a wonderfully successful campaign thus far, and have emerged as the only side capable of challenging Chelsea for the Premier League title.
Mauricio Pochettino will undoubtedly have to strengthen his options during the summer, however, if he expects his Tottenham side to challenge for major honours on all fronts.
One particular area of concern for the Lilywhites is their lack of firepower when key man Harry Kane is absent through injury or suspension, and the addition of an able back-up to the England international must feature highly on the Argentine’s priority list.
Whilst Vincent Janssen still needs more time to adapt, it could be argued that he is simply not good enough to cut it at the highest level.
Here are three reasonably priced options for Spurs to consider this summer, who would be an upgrade on the cumbersome Dutchman…
Carlos Bacca, AC Milan:
The 30-year-old Colombian hitman was heavily linked with a move to the Premier League last summer, but he eventually chose to remain with the Serie A giants.
He is one of the best finishers in the game, and despite his advancing years, his robust playing style would seemingly be ideally suited to the English game.
He would undoubtedly be a more potent threat than Janssen, and Tottenham should most definitely explore the option of signing him this summer.
AC Milan’s Carlos Bacca
Paco Alcacer, Barcelona:
The Spaniard has played a peripheral role in Barca’s campaign this term, failing to establish himself as a regular starter. That is little surprise, however, with the three forwards he has in front of him in the pecking order at the Nou Camp.
The 23-year-old striker is incredibly talented though, and with the impeccable technical ability that he possesses, he would be a superb addition to the Spurs squad.
He can play anywhere along the front line, which would provide Pochettino with the option of more variety in the way he sets his side up.
And with Barcelona expected to be extremely active during this summer’s transfer window, Alcacer could very well be deemed dispensable by the Spanish giants.
Barcelona’s Paco Alcacer
Kevin Gameiro, Atletico Madrid:
The 29-year-old Frenchman is another who has received less game-time than he would have liked this season, and Tottenham should take advantage of that with a summer bid for the striker.
He is extremely mobile, strong in the air, and has a physique that would be well capable of withstanding the robust nature of the English game.
He is, in fact, very similar to Kane in style, so would naturally be the perfect back-up option for the 23-year-old.
