Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino will be looking for some quality additions this summer.
Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino
Spurs have performed admirably so far this season, and currently sit in second position in the Premier League table, just seven points adrift of league leaders Chelsea.
In order to complete on all fronts next term, however, Pochettino will undoubtedly have to strengthen his squad as a whole.
Here we take a look at three players currently plying their trade in Holland who would suit Tottenham’s playing style:
Terence Kongolo, Feyenoord:
The 23-year-old Dutchman is a supremely talented athlete, and is renowned for his versatility.
He can operate in the centre or the left hand side of defence, and has a wonderful ability to read the game. He is also extremely quick along the ground, and would provide superb cover for the likes of Jan Vertonghen and Danny Rose.
Kevin Wimmer is arguably not good enough to be considered as Tottenham’s back-up centre-half, so the addition of a left footed central defender will surely feature highly on Mauricio Pochettino’s priority list this summer.

Davy Klaassen, Ajax:
The 24-year-old has been in sparkling form for Ajax this term, scoring 12 goals and chipping in with nine assists in 29 Eredivisie outings – a quite outstanding return for a central midfielder.
Whilst Spurs are well stocked in the midfield department, they do sometimes lack a creative spark when Christian Eriksen is not at his best, and the addition of Klaassen could take them to another level next season.

Tonny Vilhena, Feyenoord:
The 22-year-old can play anywhere in midfield, and offers an attacking threat as well as providing cover for his defence.
He is supremely gifted from a technical perspective, and his range of passing would most definitely bring something unique to the Tottenham side.
Vilna still has plenty to learn and, under the tutelage of Pochettino, could very well develop into on of the world’s best midfielders.
