Derby County are set to make alterations to their first-team squad in the summer transfer window.
Derby County boss Gary Rowett has suggested that he could look to offload some of his side’s more experienced players this summer.
Rowett has suggested that something needs to change something at Derby if the club are to be promoted.
The former Birmingham boss told the Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast, which was broadcast on TalkSPORT on 12th May: “They’ve been trying to get promoted for four years, so for whatever reason something hasn’t worked. We need to change something, whether that be a mentality or some players. We’ll get to work with that straight away.”

Johnny Russell
Russell has been at Derby since 2013, and is unquestionably a weapon at Championship level.
However, the Scot has endured a difficult season, where he has scored just two goals in 36 appearances.
If the Rams are to be promoted they will need a better return than that, which could put Russell’s future in to doubt.
Jason Shackell
Shackell returned to Derby in 2015, but has fallen out of favour at Pride Park recently.
The 33-year-old has made just eight appearances in the Championship this season, and he will surely be moved on.
Nick Blackman
Nick Blackman has had 18 months to impress at Derby, but failed to make much of an impact.
Blackman was one of the most deadly strikers in the Championship while with Reading, but has never recreated that form at Derby.
