West Ham United are expected to be extremely busy during this summer’s transfer window.
West Ham United manager Slaven Bilic
The Hammers have endured a tumultuous campaign so far this season, but have managed to salvage some pride in recent weeks, and can still finish inside the top half of the table with a pair of victories in their final two games.
They have undoubtedly still regressed, however, from last term where they finished in seventh position.
In order for West Ham to force themselves back into contention for a Europa League spot, Slaven Bilic will have to vastly improve on his poor player recruitment from the summer of 2016, and bring some genuine quality into the club.
With that in mind, here are three potential signings for the Hammers, that should elevate them into contenders for a place inside the top seven once again:
Jordan Pickford, Sunderland:
Whilst West Ham’s two goalkeeping options have performed admirably at times this season, it is clear that both Adrian and Darren Randolph are just not quite good enough to cut it at the very top level.
And the Black Cats’ 23-year-old stopper would be the ideal addition to Bilic’s squad. He has really impressed this season, oozing authority and composure, despite his tender years. He would undoubtedly be an upgrade on the Croatian’s current options.
He is attracting interest form some of England’s biggest clubs, however, so a deal for Pickford could be tricky to get over the line.

Cesc Fabregas, Chelsea:
The classy Spaniard would be a fantastic addition to the Hammers squad. The 30-year-old is technically brilliant, and his creative genius would most certainly help elevate West Ham’s productivity in the final third.
His limited game-time for Chelsea this season could mean that he is available this summer, and if there is even the slightest chance of bringing the former Arsenal and Barcelona man to the London Stadium, the West Ham hierarchy should not hesitate to make a move for Fabregas.

Michy Batshuayi, Chelsea:
Another Chelsea star who has received limited game-time this season, the Belgian will surely be looking for a move away from Stamford Bridge if his situation does not change.
The 23-year-old has failed to make a single Premier League start all season long, but his goalscoring record should make West Ham believe that he still has a lot to offer.
He is incredibly quick off the mark, and with the Hammers desperately bereft of pace in forward positions, he would be the ideal signing for Bilic this summer.
