The Rangers youngster has been linked with a move away from Ibrox, although new boss Pedro Caixinha is reportedly desperate to keep him.
Glasgow Rangers midfielder Billy Gilmour is being linked with a move to Chelsea. But could cashing in on the 15-year-old in fact have surprise benefits?
Here are three Blues stars the Scottish giants should request to loan if Gilmour heads to Stamford Bridge:
Matt Miazga

Chelsea paid around £4 million to sign the American centre-back from New York Red Bulls in 2016, before loaning him to Dutch feeder club Vitesse Arnhem where he has been no more than a semi-regular so far. Perhaps he would fare better at Rangers next season, with Philippe Senderos likely to leave and doubts over the futures of Clint Hill and Rob Kiernan.
Lewis Baker

Also at Vitesse until the summer, the England Under-21 international has excelled this campaign, scoring 14 goals in 31 appearances across all competitions. First team football could be hard to come by upon his return, however, and Rangers would be wise to offer him a lifeline. With the loans of Jon Toral and Emerson Hyndman expiring, it’s likely there’ll be gaps for Baker to fill at Ibrox.
Tammy Abraham

Another England Under-21 star, Abraham has taken the Championship by storm since signing for Bristol City on loan last summer, scoring 22 goals in his first 40 games at senior level. Chelsea will likely loan him out again next term, although whether or not he’d play regularly in the Premier League remains to be seen. Moussa Dembele’s success in Scotland could convince the Blues to send the powerful centre-forward in Rangers’ direction.
