The Sheffield Wednesday midfielder last started a first-team fixture five months ago.

The prospect of a fourth-round trip to Chelsea should ensure that Tuesday’s replay between Luton Town and Sheffield Wednesday is hotly contested.
Wednesday will be keen to bounce back from Saturday’s 3-0 defeat at Hull – their first in five matches – but may have to shuffle their pack amid knocks to Keiren Westwood and Sam Hutchinson, along with Joey Pelupessy.
Steve Agnew’s Owls are already set to be without Lucas Joao and Fernando Forestieri, while Josh Onomah, Kieran Lee and Gary Hooper are definitely unavailable.
Having replaced Westwood for Luton’s visit to Hillsborough 10 days ago, Cameron Dawson should return in goal regardless of whether or not the Irishman is passed fit. While David Jones could earn a recall in central midfield if Hutchinson and Pelupessy fail to make it.

Mass changes are unlikely, although Steven Fletcher may be rested as is commonplace when Sheffield Wednesday face three games in quick succession. Either Atdhe Nuhiu or Sam Winnall would replace the Scotland international if so.
