Tottenham loanee Nabil Bentaleb helped Schalke to a big win.

Nabil Bentaleb has had a mixed time on loan at Schalke so far, but turned in his best performance of the season at the weekend.
The Algerian is on a season long loan from Tottenham Hotspur, but the season had not gone well, as before this weekend Schalke sat bottom of the Bundesliga without a single point.

Bentaleb was partly culpable for their loss the week before, giving the ball away for a goal in a 2-1 loss to Hoffenheim.
He made up for it this weekend by providing an assist in a stunning 4-0 win over Borussia Moenchengladbach.
Bentaleb had retained his place for the midweek Europa League win over Red Bull Salzburg, and did enough to warrant another start against Moenchengladbach.
He was near his best in the 4-0 victory, creating three chances from just 51 touches.
Bentaleb completing 81 per cent of his passes, slightly above his season average of 79 per cent, according to whoscored.com.
If he continues to perform and contribute positively like he did at the weekend, then Schalke are more likely to want to pay up to sign him permanently at the end of the season.
This will bring more money in for Tottenham to spend on players for next season, also ensuring Bentaleb is not heading to a Premier League rival to come back and haunt them.
