Players from Mainz, Wolfsburg and Schalke 04 all feature.
With the summer fast approaching the cheque books are at the ready as Premier League teams prepare themselves for another season.
The transfer market will again be fierce and once again the Bundesliga will be a popular venue for potential buyers.
But who should Arsenal target from German football?
Here are three options…
Johannes Geis – Mainz
He is perhaps one player who has slipped under the radar in German football, but Geis should be at the top of many a buyers list this summer.
Arsenal could certainly do with another holding midfield option arriving in the summer, despite the success of Francis Coquelin so far this campaign.
Geis is already being targeted by some of the Bundesliga big boys. Kicker reported last month that Bayer Leverkusen and Wolfsburg were seeking a deal for the Mainz talent.
Arsenal would be wise to get this bargain on board before he makes a move elsewhere, as he is perfect for the club.
Luiz Gustavo – Wolfsburg
An old target for Arsenal, who plays in the same position as Geis. He rejected potential moves to Chelsea and Arsenal to join Wolfsburg, but could he now be tempted to try out the Premier League.
Surely he is worth a go.
Benedikt Howedes – Schalke 04
Arsenal have addressed their centre-back problems, to a limit, with the signing of Gabriel in January. However another defender must be considered as Per Mertesacker’s age will soon begin catching up with his already languid legs.
Howedes is a fellow World Cup winner who can also play at either full-back position. He would be a fantastic buy.
