Former Birmingham City boss Gary Rowett is set to take over at Derby County.
With Gary Rowett set to take over at Derby County (Daily Mirror), we take a look at three Birmingham City players he could take with him to Pride Park.
Tomasz Kuszczak

Kuszczak’s contract at Birmingham expires in the summer, meaning he could be a cheap addition for Derby.
Although the Polish stopper would have a battle to become the Rams’ number one, as Scott Carson is an excellent stopper at Championship level, he would increase competition for places.
Rowett was a big fan of Kuszczak during his time at Birmingham, and a potential reunion could appeal to both.
Maikel Kieftenbeld

If Rowett does take over at Derby, he is likely to want to add more steel to the Rams’ midfield ranks.
Derby have been out battled on occasion this season, and Rowett will not allow that.
If he wants to add more bite and power, then Kieftenbeld could be the perfect addition – as he has impressed since moving to Birmingham two seasons ago.
Che Adams

Adams has still not fulfilled his potential at Birmingham, since joining them from Sheffield United at the start of the campaign.
The youngster has been rotated into the Blues’ side this season, as he hasn’t scored frequently enough to hold down a first-team place.
However, Adams clearly has an abundance of potential, and Rowett may be tempted to try and help the attacker develop further at Derby.
