Aston Villa have some talented young players coming through the ranks.
Aston Villa have already benefited from one talented youngster this season, with striker Keinan Davies proving to be a star in the making, while loanee Josh Onomah has also played his part during his temporary stint away from Tottenham Hotspur.
But Davis is not the only teenager Villa fans will be keeping a close eye on in the coming months, with manager Steve Bruce having plenty of options further down the line.
Here we take a look at three Villa teenagers to watch out for in 2018:
Callum O’Hare
A versatile attacking midfielder with a very bright future, Callum O’Hare has already featured six times for the Villa first-team, impressing in the EFL Cup behind Scott Hogan earlier this season.
The 19-year-old grabbed his first assist in a 2-1 defeat to Sheffield Wednesday last month and he looks set for plenty more chances with 2018 likely to be his breakout year.
Rushian Hepburn-Murphy
A player Villa fans have been watching for some time now, record-breaker Rushian Hepburn-Murphy’s progress has been blighted by injury.
That said, the 19-year-old centre forward is now ready to make up for lost time and it would be no surprise if he followed in Davis’s footsteps and finally staked his claim next year.
Easah Suliman
Centre-back Easah Suliman made his Villa debut as a late substitute against Wigan Athletic in the EFL Cup in August and more chances will come his way in due course.
While James Chester and John Terry (when fit) are the undisputed first choice defensive pairing at Villa Park, usurping the like of Chris Samba and the already overlooked Tommy Elphick should be well within Suliman’s grasp come the turn of the year.
