Aaron Ramsey is rated lower than three Arsenal teammates in the latest version of FIFA.

Three Arsenal players have been given higher ratings in the latest version of FIFA than Aaron Ramsey.

Rambo has been one of the most consistent box-to-box midfielders in the Premier League stretching back to the start of last season, but the latest edition of the video game considers three players more effective than the Welshman.

First up is summer signing Alexis Sanchez with a rating of 84 (Ramsey’s rating is 83) who has created immense excitement at the club following his £32 million transfer from the Nou Camp.

Next up is Spanish midfielder Santi Cazorla rated at 85 and finally, Arsenal’s German maestro Mesut Ozil is rated at 86, despite some inconsistency creeping into his Arsenal career.

So are the ratings fair and accurate?

There’s not much to choose between Ramsey, Cazorla and Ozil based on assists last season but the Welshman was clearly ahead in terms of goals and could have extended that lead if he hadn’t missed a large chunk of the season around winter time.

This season he’s already ahead in terms of goals but is again lagging behind in the assists column.

However, Arsene Wenger and Arsenal fans won’t complain one little bit if Rambo is getting on the end of chances and converting the hard work from the rest of the midfield.

Ramsey is also way out in front of the trio when it comes to accurate passes and the number of touches he’s having in possession.

The accurate passes suggest that he’s protecting the ball well while the number of touches shows his versatility in attack, to find pockets of space where he can receive the ball and ease pressure on a teammate.

The stats suggest Ramsey should be rated higher but as long as he does the business in real life for the rest of the season, that’s what counts.
