The Dons host Mark Warburton’s Light Blues on Sunday.

Rangers will look to put a turbulent few weeks behind them when they travel to Aberdeen on Sunday, with Tuesday’s hammering of Queen of the South a welcome prelude.
Mark Warburton’s side sit a place below their upcoming hosts going into the game, and with the Dons having finished as runners-up in each of the past two campaigns, their squad is sure to contain a few names that may be of interest their rivals from Glasgow.
Here’s three…
Mark Reynolds
A historic target for Rangers, Reynolds has been one of the most consistent performers, not only at Aberdeen but in the Premiership as a whole, since his return from disappointing spell at Sheffield Wednesday. The 29-year-old, who is the Dons’ vice-captain, could be a useful addition – what with the contracts of Philippe Senderos and Clint Hill set to expire next summer.

Jonny Hayes
Finally, a full Ireland international in his 29th year, the winger has lit up the Premiership since venturing north from Leicester City in 2009. Hayes was named in the divisional team of the year last term, having scored five goals and made another 12. Rangers aren’t blessed with too many natural wide options, while the Dons star’s contract expires in 2018.

Adam Rooney
No Rangers player has scored more than two league goals this season – although saying that neither has Rooney. However, with 38 in 64 Premiership appearances over the past two campaigns, the floodgates are sure to open for the 28-year-old. Kenny Miller isn’t getting any younger.
