It felt like the start of an exciting new era for Everton when they beat Tottenham 1-0 away from home on Sunday afternoon.
There’s still plenty of work to be done by Carlo Ancelotti but as opening days of the season go, it was about as good as it could get.
The legendary Italian needs to do more to reshape his squad and the Telegraph claim that could involve offloading some of Marco Silva’s signings.
We’ve got three players here who only arrived at Goodison Park in 2019 but could be set for an exit already…
Moise Kean
Kean is named in the report as available for a potential suitor who could pay close to the £25 million (BBC) Everton spent on him under Silva.
That is indicative of the way the reputation of a player who was regarded as one of Europe’s hottest young strikers has nosedived on Merseyside.
Many might have thought the arrival of his compatriot Ancelotti would help Kean get back to his best but that hasn’t been the case so far.
Ancelotti has stuck with Dominic Calvert-Lewin largely, restricting Kean to bit-part displays.

Alex Iwobi
Iwobi could cost Everton up to £34 million, as per BBC, but the Telegraph claim he is expendable this summer too.
He has split opinion throughout his career, and hasn’t hit the heights on Merseyside yet.
It seemed he was bought as an alternative option to Wilfried Zaha, but they’re different types of players.
Iwobi is a tactically disciplined midfielder, capable of picking clever passes when he’s playing at his best.
He hasn’t found a role at Everton yet, but does come across as the type of player who could improve under Ancelotti.

Fabian Delph
Everton have entirely reshaped their midfield this summer, shunting Delph further down the pecking order.
His arrival last summer was heralded as a smart piece of business but he hasn’t been able to stay fit for long enough to make an impact.
Given that Delph likely only left Manchester City to play more regularly, he might be tempted to move on again now that his gametime looks limited.
That said, he could offer handy left back cover for Lucas Digne now that Leighton Baines has retired.
