It’s time to look at some of the important fixtures remaining for Tottenham Hotspur, with London derbies a central theme.

With Tottenham Hotspur fans’ hopes of a Premier League title once again fading into the distance, their attention will now turn towards securing a place in the top four once again. With the FA Cup and the Europa League to also contend with, the question remains as to how much focus Pochettino will give the league campaign for the remainder of the season.

Chelsea – Home (January 4)

Tottenham and Chelsea do not like each other – that much is a given. But over the last few years the gap between the two sides has been narrowing, to the point where the Blues are now looking over their shoulder. The hatred between the London rivals always makes for an entertaining clash, but the prospect of ruining Chelsea’s title dreams will make this a mouthwatering affair for all Spurs fans.

Manchester City – Away (January 21)

Given how both teams have started the season, it really is anyone’s guess as to where they will both be situated by the time this game rolls around. It seems as if Tottenham’s style would unsettle Guardiola as was proven in their first meeting, but City always seem to have a trick or two up their sleeve. If Spurs are serious about their status at the top of the league, they need to get something from this.

Arsenal – Home (April 29)

It was always going to be this. In order to ensure that St Totteringham’s Day is cancelled this year, Spurs will likely need three points against Wenger’s men. Given their recent poor form it seems likely that Arsenal will once again go on a late charge towards the end of the season when the title is already out of their grasp, making this an extremely unpredictable affair. Did we mention that it will be the last ever NLD at White Hart Lane too? As if it needed more spice.
