Alan Shearer has written on the Premier League’s official website that Arsenal winger Leandro Trossard will be a key player for the Gunners in their quest to win the title this season.

The Newcastle United legend has included Arsenal winger Trossard in his Premier League Team of the Week.

The 28-year-old winger gave all three assists for the Gunners in their 3-0 win against Fulham in the London derby this past weekend.

Arsenal are at the top of the Premier League table at the moment.

Former Newcastle striker Shearer believes that 28-year-old Belgium international winger Trossard will play a big role for Arsenal in the final weeks and months of the season, as Mikel Arteta’s side aim to beat defending champions Manchester City to the Premier League title this season.

HITC Verdict: Leandro Trossard a big player for the Gunners

In our view, Leandro Trossard has already established himself as a key figure for Arsenal, and he joined the Gunners only in January 2023 from Premier League rivals Brighton and Hove Albion.

The winger has been able to make an immediate impact at Arsenal, who are a better team because of him.

Trossard has shown that he can play out wide or as a false 9.

The Belgian has shown that he can make an impact off the bench or when he starts.
