Some Rangers supporters thought one young Ger had left to join West Ham United until Friday.
The Rangers youth team striker Nathan Young-Coombes was rumoured to have been West Ham bound in the summer transfer window.
But the deadline passed without incident and Young-Coombes remained at Ibrox.
The Englishman, who played for West Ham’s London rivals Crystal Palace and Chelsea before his move to Rangers early last year, has remained a key part of the Gers set up.

And he underlined his ability with a goal as the Rangers Under-18s beat their Celtic equivalents 3-0 earlier.
The news appeared to catch a couple of fans off-guard, however, though we are sure they are pleasantly surprised to learn that Young-Coombes is still on Rangers’ books.
Another two strikers, Tyler Pasnik and James Graham, were also on target for Rangers, who appear to be blessed with talent in that particular department.
Tony Weston and Chris McKee, who signed for Rangers despite reports that top English clubs were keen, are also employed by the Gers.
It remains to be seen if West Ham will revive their alleged Young-Coombes interest at a later date.
