Jack Wilshere has stated on Instagram that he is ‘looking forward to being involved more’ after coaching Arsenal’s U17’s.

The 29-year-old is currently training with Arsenal, until he seemingly finds a new club after becoming a free-agent in the summer.

Arsenal and Mikel Arteta provided the Englishman with a chance to train with them at London Colney after leaving Championship side Bournemouth and then training out on his own.

Along with that, he has also been working with the younger age groups at Hale-End, a place he knows very well.

Wilshere came through those academy ranks as a highly-rated teenager himself and wowed the Arsenal fans, under the guidance of Arsene Wenger.

He has now shared the style of play of Arsenal youngsters and how they play ‘really good football’ and he wants to be involved more.

It will be interesting to see where Wilshere ends up after January and whether he is still in North London.

Even if he impresses in Arsenal training, it seems as though a contract deal with his boyhood club has been ruled out.

It would be some story if Wilshere returned to Arsenal colours and represented them once more because it has been a tough journey for him during these past few years.

But the unfortunate truth of the matter is that he is no longer good enough for the Gunners and that was proven by a Championship team letting him go in the summer.
