Celtic face Hibernian on Saturday afternoon in the Scottish Premiership.

Steven Thompson has told BBC Scotland’s Sportscene Extra that Celtic will run out of comfortable winners against Hibernian on Saturday afternoon.
The Hoops go up against Neil Lennon’s side at Celtic Park and will need a much improved performance if they are to see off the challenge of a strong Hibs side that currently sit fourth in the Scottish Premiership table.
Celtic limped past Partick Thistle on Tuesday night, coming from behind to win 2-1 thanks to goals from Scott Sinclair and Leigh Griffiths but they were sloppy in defence and without much punch in attack.

Former Rangers striker Thompson claimed Celtic would bounce back from the disappointing display to push Hibs aside with a scoreline of 3-0 on Saturday, and urged Brendan Rodgers to start 27-year-old Leigh Griffiths.
“They seem to play well against Celtic, and they were great at Celtic Park. On that day they were absolutely outstanding. They want after Celtic, played with a high press,” Thompson said.
“They showed no fear at all, weren’t intimidated. I’d be very surprised if they didn’t approach the game in the same manner. 3-0 to Celtic. Leigh Griffiths should be starting up front. You want goals. Griffiths guarantees goals. Get him up top.”

Griffiths came off the bench to secure three points for the Hoops on Tuesday night, as the ineffective Odsonne Edouard failed once again to prove that he deserves a permanent deal at Celtic.
Celtic drew 2-2 with Hibs in September and December, with Efe Ambrose and Oli Shaw cancelling out Scott Sinclair’s double back in December at Easter Road.
