Former Rangers striker Steven Thompson has had his say on Celtic’s clash against Hibernian.

Brendan Rodgers takes his side to Easter Road to face former Celtic player and manager Neil Lennon, who has guided his Hibs side to an impressive fourth place in the league table after getting promoted last season.
The Hoops come into the game after receiving widespread criticism following their 1-0 loss to Anderlecht on Wednesday night, which saw Jozo Simunovic score an own goal in the second half.

Rodgers will be looking to pick his players up and Thompson believes they will continue their unbeaten domestic record with a 3-1 win over Hibernian on the Hibees’ own patch.
“No”, Thompson said, when asked if Hibernian can end Celtic’s unbeaten run. “Hibs away form has been spectacular but at home they’ve not been quite as good. Celtic have a point to prove after losing to Anderlecht.
“They have dropped below the levels which they set themselves, which is high. I would expect to see a reaction and changes in the side against Hibs, but Celtic will be too strong for Hibernian. 3-1 to Celtic.”

Hibs come into the game in good spirits after beating Partick Thistle 1-0 last time out, and will draw positives from the fact that they drew against Celtic on Parkhead last time the two sides met with a 2-2 tie.
However, Celtic have not lost in 67 matches in Scottish football since Rodgers took over and Hibs will have to produce a near miracle to finally end the run.
