Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel is a fan of Tottenham Hotspur transfer target and Wolverhampton Wanderers winger Adama Traore, according to journalist Simon Phillips.
Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur linked with Wolverhampton Wanderers winger Adama Traore
The well-known and well-respected journalist has told GiveMeSport that Chelsea are interested in signing Traore from Premier League rivals Wolves in the summer transfer window, and that head coach Tuchel personally likes him.
Earlier this month, 90min reported that Tottenham and Chelsea are interested in securing the services of the 26-year-old Spain international, who is a winger by trade and can also operate as a wing-back.
Thomas Tuchel likes Traore
Phillips told GiveMeSport: “Traore is obviously a player that Chelsea have liked for some time.
“Tuchel likes him and he can play as a wingback and as an attacker, which are two positions that I believe Chelsea want to strengthen before the window ends and he’s always a name that I’ve been told to keep an eye on.”

Could a transfer happen?
In our view, Chelsea or Tottenham Hotspur would be able to sign Adama Traore from Wolverhampton Wanderers in the summer transfer window if they pay £10 million.
The Athletic reported in July that Wolves are looking for £10 million for the winger, described as “electric” by Arsenal legend Martin Keown on talkSPORT (January 24, 2020).
Now, that is quite a low transfer fee for a winger who is fast, strong, can put in good crosses and dribbles well.
Traore has scored eight goals and created 22 big chances in 161 appearances in the Premier League so far in his career.
