Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel said on BT Sport 1 (2:33pm, March 13, 2021) after the game against Leeds United that the pitch at Elland Road was hard to play on.
The Blues have played out a goalless draw with Leeds away from home at Elland Road in the Premier League this afternoon.
Chelsea, who are aiming to finish in the top four of the Premier League table this season, had chances to score against the Whites, but the home team probably deservedly picked up a point from the encounter.
After the game, Tuchel complained about the pitch at Elland Road on BT Sports.
Tuchel said on BT Sport 1 (2:33pm, March 13, 2021): “The pitch was very difficult to play, very slippery, very bouncy.”

Chelsea manager Tuchel is not the first footballing figure to complain about the new pitch at Elland Road this season.
The likes of Mark Lawrenson and Graeme Souness have criticised the pitch as well, and even Leeds striker Patrick Bamford has moaned about it.
It is hard for Leeds and opposition players to play on the new pitch at Elland Road, and perhaps the Whites will do something about it, if not in the final weeks of this season, then in the summer ahead of the 2021-22 campaign.
