Thomas Partey has posted on Instagram that he is ‘happy to be back’ in training with his Arsenal teammates.
The hard-hitting midfielder hasn’t featured for Arsenal this season, but he is set to make a timely return to first-team action this weekend.
Arsenal supporters were delighted when images emerged on social media of the 28-year-old at London Colney, ahead of their clash with Norwich.
And now they will get to see him in first-team action, it’s just a case of whether he is fit enough to start or does he have to make do with a place on the bench?
Nonetheless, this is the 18-word message Partey posted on his Instagram to his supporters on Tuesday morning.
“Happy to be back with the team,” said Partey. “Working hard is the way to achieve our goals this season.”

For Partey now, it’s a case of staying out on the pitch and trying to avoid the treatment room at all costs.
During his days at Atletico Madrid, the Ghanian star didn’t used to have such problems.
But ever since he stepped through the doors of the Emirates Stadium, he can’t stop picking up injuries.
If Partey does start against Norwich then he will, more than likely, partner the new boy, Albert Sambi Lokonga, in the middle of the park.
The marmite-like figure, Granit Xhaka, is suspended after receiving a straight red during his side’s thumping 5-0 defeat to Manchester City prior to the international break.
