Paris Saint-Germain’s Thomas Meunier has hinted that he would be open to joining Everton.

Paris Saint-Germain defender Thomas Meunier has told RTBF that he would be open to a move to Everton in order to play first-team football once again.
Meunier, 26, made his name with Club Brugge in his native Belgium before starring for his country at Euro 2016, earning himself a move to PSG in the process.
The right back competed with now-Tottenham defender Serge Aurier for playing time last season, often featuring under Unai Emery, but this season has been a little more frustrating.

The signing of Dani Alves last summer gave Meunier something of a roadblock to first-team football as he has started just 13 league games this season, and played just 24 minutes in the Champions League.
Meunier, who should still feature for Belgium at this summer’s World Cup in Russia, is understandably unhappy with his situation at the Parc des Princes, and he may now be open to a summer move.
Meunier has told RTBF that he just wants to play football again after a frustrating season, and would take a move to a ‘lesser’ club such as Everton, Valencia or Borussia Dortmund in order to enjoy playing again, even if he would stay in Paris in an ideal world.

“I do not ask for too much right now, what I want is to play football,” said Meunier. “If I have to go down a notch to be able to be on the pitch, I’ll do it. We will see how it goes, I have two more years in Paris, my goal is to stay here. I like it a lot, just like my family do.”
“The club have not contacted me, it’s hard to predict. I could aim at a club like Everton, Valencia or Dortmund. Michy Batshuayi did really well going there, the fun is playing football, and that’s the only thing I miss right now,” he added.
Everton may be the size of club Meunier is looking for, but the Toffees haven’t shown and sort of interest in the defender thus far, and already have Seamus Coleman and Jonjoe Kenny, making a move for Meunier seem somewhat unlikely.
