West Ham United have appointed David Moyes as their new manager.

Sullivan came out an publicly stated that he has taken a punt by replacing Slaven Bilic by Moyes.
And Hitzlsperger claims that the West Ham owner should have been speaking far more positively of his new manager in the press.
“I read this morning that David Sullivan said it’s a gamble. He shouldn’t have said that,” the German international, who used to play for the Hammers, said.
“It’s a bad start as West Ham’s fans weren’t happy. You should boost his confidence by telling his fans that it’s a good appointment.

“I wish him well because I played under him at Everton and saw the good things he did there.”
Moyes’ appointment at West Ham has not gone down at all well with the supporters at the London Stadium.
West Ham’s board has been accused of showing a lack of ambition through Moyes’ appointment, with many supporters hoping for a manager who had been more successful in recent times.
Moyes has failed in his last three jobs – with Real Sociedad, Sunderland and Manchester United.
Moyes simply cannot afford to fail at West Ham for the London club’s sake.

West Ham are currently locked in a relegation battle, after what has been a disastrous season to date.
Moyes’ first match in charge of the Hammers will come in two weekends’ time, when his new side take on Watford at Vicarage Road.
