Thomas Frank has stated that Leeds United have a ‘very good’ player in their ranks, as he told Brentford’s official website.
After being out of action since September, Bamford is in line to return for Leeds against the Bees on Sunday afternoon at Elland Road.
Brentford’s will know all about Leeds from his days in the Championship and will be well aware that they will be boosted by the return of their star striker.
The Whites have had mixed results without Bamford and it’s pretty clear they are a completely different team with him causing havoc up front.
Frank is clearly a big fan of the England international and stated that he has proven that ‘every single time he has been fit, he has played’.
“Patrick Bamford is a very good striker,” said Frank. “He is clearly the number one striker they have.
“Every single time he has been fit he has played. He can press, run in behind, and, most importantly, can score goals.”

Not many would have predicted it at the start of the season, but the newly-promoted Bees are ahead of the Yorkshire club after their 14 matches.
But Leeds can leapfrog their 12th-placed opponents if they beat them at Elland Road this afternoon.
Leeds needed a late, late penalty to see off Crystal Palace in midweek and the home fans will be hoping for less nerve-racking action today.
But one thing is for sure, a certain Raphinha is lifting those nervous Leeds fans off their seats and proving to be a treat to watch.
