Borussia Dortmund star Thomas Delaney rates Tottenham Hotspur ace Christian Eriksen highly.

Delaney and Eriksen are Denmark international teammates, and the 27-year-old has underlined the importance of the 26-year-old.
The former Werder Bremen star has said that Eriksen cannot be replaced in the Denmark team, with the Tottenham ace on the sidelines at the moment due to injury.
Delaney told TV2 about Eriksen ahead of the match between Denmark and the Republic of Ireland: “I do not think we should try to replace him with someone who plays the same way because he is one of the best in Europe for what he does. He cannot be replaced one for one, so we have to find another way to play.”

Message for Tottenham Hotspur?
Eriksen is one of the best and most creative midfielders in Europe, and Delaney’s aforementioned comments should be paid attention to by Tottenham.
While much is made of the likes of Harry Kane, Dele Alli and Hugo Lloris, Eriksen is pivotal to Spurs and has been key to their rise in recent years.
Interestingly, Tottenham were linked with a move for Delaney recently. In May 2018, The Daily Mail reported that Spurs have been interested in the midfielder over the past year, with the Denmark international eventually moving to Dortmund in the summer transfer window.
