Mateusz Klich joined Leeds United in the summer of 2017.

Klich has been a peripheral figure at Leeds so far this campaign and has played just 131 minutes of Championship football for the Whites.

Given that the West Yorkshire outfit are doing well without the Poland international, it would not come as a surprise if the midfielder is moved on in the January transfer window, and Leeds head coach Christiansen’s latest comments about him do suggest that the 27-year-old could leave Elland Road.
Christiansen told Leeds Live when asked about Klich’s future: ”We will see what happens.”

Those five words may look simple, but they carry weight. If Christiansen wanted to retain the services of Klich and was confident that the Poland international would stay at the club beyond January, then he would have said so, instead of being value and coy.
