Leeds United boss Thomas Christiansen is said to be tracking both Bristol City’s Joe Bryan and Aden Flint.
According to the Bristol Post, Leeds United would have to pay £12 million for Joe Bryan and Aden Flint, and that means that Thomas Christiansen’s side will surely find the Bristol City pair too expensive.
Leeds have been linked with both Flint and Bryan this summer, as Christiansen looks to strengthen his defence.
But it would take a serious statement of intent for Andrea Radrizzani to fund a double swoop.
While it is not entirely out of the question, it may be that Leeds have to prioritise on their transfer hunt.
And, as a result, Flint should emerge as Christiansen’s top target for the remainder of the transfer window.
Leeds will need a new centre-back, if they are to have enough depth in the position to feel confident.
And Flint would prove an excellent addition to the Whites, as he is a proven performer at Championship level.
Flint would bring power and commitment to Leeds’ defence, and his partnership with Pontus Jansson would have the potential to be formidable.
Bryan would also improve Leeds, but the Whites already have a very solid left-back in the form of Gaetano Berardi.
And if Leeds can only afford to buy one of the Bristol City pair, then it should be Flint that they direct all their attention towards.
