Forest got past Newcastle United in the last round of the League Cup, and Leeds will be hoping to pull off a similar upset this evening.

The Whites are due to face off against Burnley at Turf Moor later today.

And Christiansen is hoping that Leeds can overcome their divisional disadvantage and progress to the next round.

“Nottingham played a fantastic game and they past to the next round defeating a Premier League team. We hope this can be us also.”

Leeds have reached this stage of the League Cup in comfortable fashion, but their match against Burnley is their toughest test yet.
