Leeds United have begun their pre-season friendlies now, and have won all of them to date.

Thomas Christiansen has admitted to the Yorkshire Evening Post that he hasn’t been happy about Leeds United’s finishing so far.

Leeds have won every one of their friendlies to date, against non-league opposition.

However, Christiansen feels that his side would have had more goals to their name – had they been more clinical in front of goal.

“I’ve seen many good situations, especially the building up,” Christiansen said, “but of course I cannot be happy with the finishing.

“We have had a lot of opportunities and we could have scored six or seven goals. We have time to work on that.”

Leeds, of course, will be buoyed in their search for more goals when Chris Wood returns to pre season.

Wood has been given extended leave, as he represented New Zealand at the Confederations Cup.

Wood was Leeds’ main scorer last term, where he had a brilliant campaign at Elland Road.

Leeds pre-season schedule is set to take a step up in intensity soon, as Christiansen looks to sharpen his side up.

Leeds are set to travel to Austria in the near future, as they get ready for the new campaign.
