Tyler Roberts has joined Leeds United from West Bromwich Albion on January transfer deadline day.

Championship club Leeds have signed Roberts from Premier League side West Bromwich Albion on January transfer deadline day.
According to Sky Sports, the West Yorkshire outfit have had to pay the Baggies a transfer fee of £2.5 million in order to secure the services of the 19-year-old, who can operate as a striker or as a winger.
Leeds head coach Christiansen suggested on Tuesday evening that the Whites will sign Roberts – as they have done now – and also shared his opinion on the young striker.

Christiansen told Leeds Live when asked about Roberts on Tuesday evening: “Well, it’s right. It’s a player that we have been follow and a young talent that can help the team.”
The Leeds head coach told BBC Radio Leeds on Tuesday evening about the striker following the match against Hull City: “He is an interesting player.
“He can play upfront, but can also play on both wings, a lot of mobility, technically good, fast, good with the ball.”

Roberts is a very talented and promising young footballer, and he could establish himself as an important player for Leeds in the coming years.
True, the West Yorkshire outfit need a striker who can come in and start banging in the goals rightaway, but at the same time they need young players for the future.
