Leeds United lost against Millwall at The Den in the Championship on Saturday afternoon.

Leeds United head coach Thomas Christiansen has revealed to BBC Radio Leeds what he told his players after the defeat to Millwall.

The West Yorkshire outfit suffered a 1-0 loss at the hands of Millwall away from home in the Championship on Saturday afternoon.

Aiden O’Brien’s goal in the 73rd minute proved to be the difference between the two sides at The Den.

Leeds head coach Christiansen has revealed what he told his players after the defeat to Millwall.

“After the game, I said that what we delivered was not enough,” Christiansen told BBC Radio Leeds when asked what he told his Leeds players after full time.

“If we wanted to take the three points, we should have given much more. We should have been more aggressive.”

Over the course of the 90 minutes at The Den, hosts Millwall had 46% of the possession, took 20 shots of which six were on target, and earned 14 corners, according to BBC Sport.

Visitors Leeds had 54% of the possession, took one shot which was not on target, and earned two corners, according to BBC Sport.

The Whites are at the top of the Championship table at the moment with 17 points from eight matches.

Leeds will return to action on Tuesday evening when they take on Premier League club Burnley away from home at Turf Moor in the EFL Cup.
