Leeds United have signed four players this summer.

Leeds United boss Thomas Christiansen has suggested to LUTV, (cited by Inside Futbol) that the club could announce a new signing as early as Friday.

Three players have arrived at Leeds this summer under Christiansen, with Mateusz Klich, Madger Gomes and Felix Wiedwald all signing on with the Elland Road club.

According to Aragon TV, the Whites are interested in signing Huesca duo Samu Saiz – who has been linked for quite a while now – and Alexander Gonzalez, while others have been linked.

And Christiansen, speaking to LUTV on Wednesday, said “perhaps the day after tomorrow” the club will announce something in relation to an arrival.

“They [negotiations] are going well. We will have news very soon. Perhaps after tomorrow we can announce something, but it’s on a good way.”

Leeds, who have also signed Hadi Sacko on a permanent deal, will be determined to make up for the disappointment of last season ahead of the new campaign.

Under Garry Monk, United surrendered a playoff place toward the end of an otherwise fine season, with one victory in their last game Championship outings ensuring that they came seventh and five points adrift of the top six.

They kick off the 2017-18 campaign with a trip to newly-promoted Bolton Wanderers on August 6.
