The Leeds United striker is impressing at Blackburn Rovers.

Thomas Christiansen has told BBC Radio Leeds that he has not yet discussed the potential return of Marcus Antonsson to Leeds United from Blackburn Rovers.
Antonsson has scored eight goals loan club Blackburn this season – five of which have arrived since the start of November, which saw him crowned PFA fans’ player of the month for League One.
And with Leeds front men Caleb Ekuban and Pierre-Michel Lasogga currently sidelined, some Whites fans have called on the club to invoke their recall option on the Swede.

When asked, however, if he had had any thoughts about doing so, Christiansen suggested to BBC Radio Leeds that his striker crisis is not as bad as first feared.
“Right now we haven’t spoken about that,” said the Whites boss. “Pierre will come back soon and we have enough players up front.”
When asked how if Lasogga – who has missed Leeds’ last … matches – was close to making his squad to face Norwich City City on Saturday, Christiansen replied: “No, no he hasn’t trained with the team, so it’s impossible for him to even be close.”

Speaking to Leeds Live, the Dane said of Ekuban – who was spotted walking with crutches and wearing a protective boot after Saturday’s win at Queens Park Rangers: “Well, Caleb will probably miss some games but again what we have is what we have in the squad and I have to use the players I have there.
“But again, we come back to the situation of [Kemar] Roofe from winger, striker, second striker… wherever I put him he does good work but of course he’s a striker.
“He likes to play as a striker and he prove that it’s a very good option for me there.”
