Leeds suffered injuries to both Matthew Pennington and Gaetano Berardi during their first game of the season against Bolton Wanderers, which leaves them very short at the back.
And Christiansen admits that Leeds are still attempting to do deals between now and the end of the transfer window.

Christiansen said, when asked how quickly Leeds will be able to complete another signing: “We will see. We will work on that. Now we have to recover the players after the high intensity, but we will see.”
Christiansen confirmed to Radio Leeds that his side were interested in signing Manchester United defender Cameron Borthwick-Jackson, and his arrival will improve their options in defence.
Leeds won their season opener against Bolton 3-2, and they put in a highly impressive attacking performance.
The Whites looked very strong going forward, with Kalvin Phillips netting a brace and Chris Wood also getting on the score sheet.
Leeds are next in action on Wednesday evening, when they take on Port Vale in the League Cup.
