Leeds United attacking midfielder Samu Saiz missed out on playing against Burton Albion.

Saiz was not included in Leeds’ squad at the Pirelli Stadium, after he picked up a calf problem in the Whites’ last match against Hull City.
However, Christiansen has confirmed that the problem is minor, and he expects Saiz to be available for Leeds’ next outing against Birmingham City on Saturday.
“He could have made it today, but again I took the decision not to run any risks,” Christiansen said.

“For the next game against Birmingham, he will be there.”
Saiz’s return will be a major boost for Leeds, but there is no guarantees that the 26-year-old will be given a starting role at St. Andrews.
Saiz has been one of Leeds’ stars this season, but they won in his absence against Burton, and were impressive.

Nigel Clough’s side took the lead in the contest, but Leeds turned things around through goals from Pablo Hernandez and Kemar Roofe.
Leeds have now won their last four matches on the bounce, and have climbed up into fifth place in the Championship table.
