Samu Saiz was handed his first Leeds United start against Fulham last night.
Saiz scored a hat-trick on debut against Port Vale in the League Cup, but he has generally been used sparingly in the Championship so far.
The Spanish midfielder made his first league start for Leeds against Fulham last night.
And Christiansen insists that Saiz will get better with more game time under his belt.

“He can be a very good player,” Christiansen said. “I believe he will do better, each game.
“There was a situation that was at the end of the game, before he got substituted, he made a sprint from the other half and recovered the ball. It was very good work for everyone in that situation, because he’s very tired but made that effort.”
Leeds drew 0-0 with Fulham last night, which means that they now failed to score in either of their last two home matches.
The Whites may still be unbeaten in all competitions this term, but Christiansen’s side need to re-find their shooting boots in the near future.
Leeds are next in action against Sunderland at the Stadium of Light, in what could be a tough test.
Simon Grayson’s side are also yet to taste defeat, and will head into the contest full of confidence.
