Leeds United managed to pick up a 2-1 victory over Middlesbrough last night.

With Pierre Michel Lasogga out, Christiansen selected Roofe to start up-front, and the former Oxford United man impressed.
Although Roofe did not get on the scoresheet, he was tireless with his work up top, as Leeds picked up a 2-1 victory.

And Caleb Ekuban also managed to impress the Leeds boss, with his cameo appearance off the substitutes’ bench.
Christiansen said: “Roofe has proved that he’s a good striker. Made good work for the team and made good runs. And I was also happy with the influence of Caleb.”
Roofe now looks likely to keep his place in Leeds’ starting line-up for their match against Wolverhampton Wanderers this evening.

Ekuban will also surely feature in the contest, at some point, as Christiansen’s side look to topple the Championship’s stand out team so far this season.
Wolves have been brilliant so far this term, and Leeds face a tough task to get past them.
If Leeds can pick up the victory at Molineux, they could move up as high as sixth in the Championship table.
