Leeds United head coach Thomas Christiansen has suggested to BBC Radio Leeds that he was pleased with the performance of Adam Forshaw against Hull City on Tuesday evening.

Forshaw featured for Leeds in their Championship game against Hull away from home at the KCOM Stadium.

It was the midfielder’s debut game for the Whites, having joined the West Yorkshire club from Championship rivals Middlesbrough in the January transfer window for a fee reported by Sky Sports to be worth £4.5 million.

The 26-year-old started the match against Hull and played for the entire 90 minutes, and head coach Christiansen was pleased with his performance.

“A lot of space in the midfield, he has to cover, had the experience, good runs, pace. It was interesting today to see him.”
